Hellsing Bio

there you go, find out about Hellsing!!

First of all, Hellsing is an anime that's about slaying vampires and ghouls, which means lots of blood and gore, so if you don't like that sort of stuff this anime isn't for you. The series begins with Alucard, the vampire who's always dressed in red, slaying a vampire. He is the most powerful weapon that the Hellsing Agency has against the vampires and ghouls, although he is a vampire himself who obeys a mortal. The agency's headquarters are in London, yet they speak Japanese =). Anyways, Sir Integral Wingates Hellsing, the one in charge of the agency, controls Alucard and dispatches the little army that the agency has. In the first episode, there's a vampire posing as a priest who has killed everyone in the town, so the police thought they could handle it on their own. What they weren't expecting was for the citizens to turn into ghouls. Ghouls are people who have been bitten by a vampire, but they weren't killed or turned into a vampire. In short, they're pretty much zombies that do what the vampire that bit them tells them to do. The police were attacked in Cheddars, which was the town with the blood-sucking priest, and one in particular was there: Celas Victoria. She was the only woman on the police force, and she ran away from her comrades because they had been turned into ghouls by the townspeople that had turned into ghouls themselves. Victoria manages to escape and ends up at the church where the priest is. He does his little vampire magic and gets her under his will so that he can bite her, take her blood, and kill her instead of making her a ghoul, but Alucard breaks open the door, calls him a punk, and somewhat comes to the rescue. After the priest's little army of ghouls pop out of the pews and shoot Alucard into a bloody mass of clothes, he somehow puts himself back together and shoots them all with silver bullets from his gun made of a silver cross from a church in some part of England. Well, the ghouls are all turned to ashes, and the priest has Victoria protecting his heart. Trust a vampire to use a mortal for a meat shield. Anyways, this is an important part. Alucard asks "the female officer" if she wants to go with him, and she of course agrees. He then shoots through her lung and into the priest's heart, killing him. Victoria's on the verge of death, so Alucard turns her into a vampire and tells Sir Integral to let her join the agency. So Alucard's master/mistress is Sir Integral, and Victoria's master is Alucard. [The reason I put "master/mistress" is because Sir Integral is a woman.] The entire series is pretty much about Victoria adapting to the vampire way of life while she and Alucard slay vampires and ghouls with the rest of the agency's soldiers. Of course, the Hellsing Agency is a secret government organization because they don't want the public freaking out about vampires and ghouls running around sucking their blood. At the end, Alucard also explains why Sir Integral controls him. It's pretty much because she released him from his little prison and decided to do her bidding because of it. Isn't it weird how "Alucard" spelled backwards is "Dracula"?
